Story via: @RealDesPardes: A sex racket has been busted by Ludhiana police after a secret tip off (disgruntled customer?). The brothel was being run under the description of a spa, it was located in the posh Sarabha Nagar locality in Ludhiana and was using the name Lazuli Parlour .
The 9 arrested included seven girls and two men. The arrested accused have been identified as MD, Kalu of West Bengal, Ajit Kumar of Bihar, present resident of Pakhowal Road, a girl from SBS Nagar, three girls from Pakhowal Road, and three residents of Thailand.
Speaking on the issue, ADCP Crime Rattan Singh Brar, ACP Crime Surinder Mohan, CIA in-charge Prem Singh and SHO Sarabha Nagar Sumit Sood said that the entire racket was being run by a Delhi based man and was fronted as being a spa in the city.
The Police Commissioner R N Dhoke added that Manish Sharma owner of the spa had called many girls from Thailand to help assist with the sex –spa. The owner of the parlor was still at large and a raid would be conducted at his place in Delhi to arrest him. The Police officials said that the owner of parlor used to pay money to women monthly for the flesh trade and charge approximately five thousand Rs for for one hour.
Police said these foreigners were visiting India on visitor visa and were renewing their visa to stay here.
A case under section 3 and 4 of the Immoral Trafficking Act was registered at Sarabha Nagar police station.
Earlier on Tuesday, the police in Gurugram had busted another spa that was being used as a brothel with the arrest of nine people, including six women. This brothel was in the prestigious mall in Gurugram district of Haryana in the National Capital Region (NCR).
