Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on Wednesday announced his withdrawal from Gulshan Kumar biopic “Mogul”. This, after director Subhash Kapoor was accused of sexual harassment by actor Geetika Tyagi.
Aamir and filmmaker-wife Kiran Rao, said, “Aamir Khan Productions have always had a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual misconduct and predatory behaviour of any kind.” They also said they were dedicated for making the industry a safe place.
When Bhushan Kumar of T-Series was contacted about Aamir’s decision to part ways with the project, he said that Aamir doesn’t want to work with Subhash Kapoor because of his unfinished case. In fact, Bhushan Kumar also refused to work with Kapoor. He said, “We are not making (the film) with him.” However, Kapoor remained unavailable for comment.
Subhash Kapoor had been accused of sexual harassment by actor Geetika Tyagi. She tweeted a note of thanks for Aamir on Wednesday.

After the withdrawal from the project, Subhash Kapoor said, “I understand and respect Aamir Khan’s and Kiran Rao’s decision. Since matter is subjudice, I intend to prove my innocence in the court of law.”
