Original Post

Amar Arshi needs no introduction, the Phagwara born singer has been on the scene for what seems like decades, and in that time he has delivered some major anthems. “Aaja ni Aaja” produced by Kam Dhillion is one of those anthems, and that song is now caught up in copyright battle that will see Bohemia and Times Music possibly having to go to court to settle the issue.

Case Details:

SBF are the copyrights holders to the song, and SBF owner Inderjit Singh has made it known to all that Times Music have not been in touch with him reference the release of this new version by Bohemia. Inderjit is so incensed at the flippant nature of Times Music’s attitude that he has registered the case in a civil court in Punjab.

The “Bohemia” version was due to be released on the 18th June, but had to be pulled due to the copyright infringement case, and a new date for the hearing has know been set for July 5th.

SBF, let’s make no bones about this are the copyright holders and want to be paid for what then deem as an infringement, will Times be bullied though? July 5th will tell all….
