BritAsia has today confirmed that it will be launching the Offical Punjabi Music Chart Show in conjunction with The Official Charts Company. This will be the first time that an official body like The Official Charts Company will launch a dedicated Punjabi Songs chart. The chart will be based on streams, sales and plays from within the UK only.
The BBC Asian network has a long-standing weekly chart show which covers ‘South Asian’ music. This new chart will be a dedicated Punjabi chart. The launch date of the Official Punjabi Chart Show will be Sunday 3rd November.
