Dreams MANNA MUSIC (Full Album) via Royal Music Gang

Dreams is the debut album from Manna Music. Manna is the youngest member of the Royal Music Gang stable. Hype wise their was very little media attention paid to this album and for that reason our expectations were low. Fair play to Royal Music Gang they seemed to have played us, as Dreams is actually quite an impressive body of work.

KS Makhan, Sippy Gill, Deep Jandu, Karan Aujla, Kambi, Gurlez Akhtar and Balkhar Sidhu all feature on the album. Once we saw the line up of singers we were intrigued as to how the album would pan out. What we did not expect was how desi it sounded. That was a pleasant surprise. As soon as track one kicked in we were nodding along. KS Makhan on a proper dhol driven track, not heard that for a while.

Jaati by Sippy Gill keeps that desi flavour running from Parwah. Yaar Yaar see’s Deep Jandu and Karan Aujla doing their thing. Yaar Yaar is a laid back track that does keep you listening throughout. Billi Akh featuring Kambi is a return to the desi flavour from the start of the album. Surprised us, as we thought Kambi would have dropped a ballad. Haan Karde, Preference and Feem are still on that desi vibe, this album is not bad at all so far!

Soorma is our favourite track on the album. Balkar Sidhu dropping some vocal fire. One for the heads for sure! Lastly is the song Deal featuring Karan Aujla. This closes the album of well, as it has those desi hints with that modern feel from Karan Aujla. All in All Manna Music has made a solid debut here with Dreams!
