Planet Recordz is serious about being back on the scene. 2019 has seen them release songs by Jazzy B, Amrit Maan, PropheC and now it is appealing to the younger pop market. Gaddaar is the latest release and features Akhil and Ikka.
Akhil has mass appeal among a younger generation of Punjabi music fans. A recent move into Bollywood has seen him grow that appeal even further. Teaming up with Ikka again is just another step in the ‘Brand Akhil’ journey. Ikka has street credibility among young dedicated music fans in India. Akhil wants a piece of that pie and vice versa. The song Gaddar itself see’s Akhil shine vocally. The star of the show for us, BOB, the music producer. A great clean pop instrumental that offers so much musically, it’s hard not to be impressed.
