The land of five rivers is flooding and the state is witnessing its worst flood in almost three decades. Hundreds have gone missing across 500 villages impacted by the floods. The rains have led to havoc in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Ferozpur and Rupnagar area of Punjab.
It was only a few days ago that Gippy Grewal and the team from the movie ‘Ardaas Karaan’, donated 7 lakh to Khalsa Aid India. The donation from the team was for helping the victims of the Punjab floods. And now a spokesperson of Gippy Grewal has confirmed that he has given another 3 Lakhs to the NGO for flood relief.
Gippy Grewal contacted the NGO and said that he regrets not being able to be present in Punjab physically himself, as he had to fly abroad owing to some pre-agreed commitments. But he has requested to provide and additional assistance of 3 Lakh to Khalsa Aid India so that they can get all the things required to help the flood victims.
Gippy Grewal was not the only one from the Punjabi Entertainment industry to help out with the Punjabi floods, Tarsem Jassar, Himanshi Khurana, Kulbir Jhinjer, were among others have come forward to help the victims.
