Review By Raj-Bitu Kang

A classic Stephen King horror, adapted for the big screen for the second time. Do you remember the original? I vaguely remember it but, being this was based on a Stephen King novel πŸ“š well, I had to go and watch it.

The setting for the movie it great where it has that eerie feel about it. The house in the middle of nowhere which just wreaks of “something is going to happen”. And yes, shock horror something does happen 😱.

Both Jason Clarke and John Lithgow are great in this movie. Amy Seimetz, who plays the mum, irritated me though πŸ™„! But, overall the movie was as I expected it to be. It just didnt make me jump or, sit there gritting my teeth with fear 😬.

It is a decent remake and worth a watch. As the movie comes to an end, you realise that it teaches you two things; firstly, you shouldn’t live in the middle of nowhere and secondly, cats are just evil πŸ‘Ή! There, I said it. Go check it out!

3 out of 5 stars. Remember, it’s my opinion!
