If there is one artist that the UK has taken to its heart over the years, it is the Punjabi singing sensation JK. The Derby based singer shook the desi music scene here in the UK over a decade ago when he burst on the scene with his debut single ‘Gabru Panjab Dha’ produced by the one and only ‘Tru-Skool’.
December 26th 2018 marked 10 years since the release of the ground breaking album ‘Gabru Panjab Dha’ and JK took to twitter to remind fans of the milestone;

UK Punjabi music fans have been eagerly awaiting a new album from JK for over 6 years, when a new album was first muted, but, alas it seems the new album will not get a release, in-fact it is only singles we will hear from JK in the foreseeable future.
Thereโs no album man just singles https://t.co/pOULIFJJXQ

As huge fans of JK we are excited by the thought of more singles and lets hope it is more than the 1 per year, which is what we are getting fed at present. JK is a special talent and needs to be heard more often. We are disappointed that we will no longer be an album, but lets hope this just means a steady flow of single releases in 2019!
JK Make it your year!
