A Gofundme campaign to help with burial expenses for the victim identified as Maninder Singh Sahi was created by his brother in February.

According to the account, Maninder Singh Sahi is survived by his parents, brother, his wife, and two small children ages 5 and 9. His brother Harpreet Guraya said Maninder only lived in California for a short time and he never argued or raised his voice at anyone.

β€œI am seeking assistance to send money to his family in India so they can have a stable life and a future for the kids. This money would help with anything the family needs in India,” stated Harpreet.
