Nabeel Choudhary was on Wednesday convicted of murdering a father of four in a brutal attack. Yassir Hussain, aged 34, was stabbed to death as he tried to flee outside the Golden City takeaway in Lower Gornal in December last year. The murder was as a result o a bitter family fued.
Wednesday saw Nabeel Choudhary convicted of the murder, attempted grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving in relation to the attack. Akarsh Tasleem was acquitted of murder and possessing a bladed article. Choudhary, aged 21 and from West Bromwich, is being sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on today for the killing of the father of four who tried to flee outside the Golden City takeaway on Central Drive.The court heard how Choudhary had previously threatened his cousin who managed to flee the scene.
Today at Birmingham Crown Court as people were awaiting the sentencing Police had to be called. A huge row erupted outside a court room. Killer Nabeel Choudhary was in court to learn his fate, violence spilled outside the court where people had to be pulled apart.
Police and security officers were called after an incident broke out near the court doors on the first floor when about 15 people were involved in shouting at each other with some pushing and shoving.
The incident was calmed when two G4S officers and three officers from West Midlands Police were called in, but later flared up again between other members of the group.
