One of the standout artists of 2019 was R Nait and he has not wasted any time in making an impact in 2020. Regret is his latest Punjabi song and features Punjabi female singer Tanishq Kaur. Music for Regret is by Gur Sidhu and the song is a Speed Records release.
No matter what you may think of R Nait as a singer, you cannot deny his stunning ability to write lyrics. Regret lyrically is just as impressive as other songs by R Nait. A love story that stretches from the pind to overseas, but wrote in a clever an impressive way. The memory flashbacks and the tie in’s to current times all work really well. Vocally R Nait delivers and Tanishq Kaur plays more than just a bit part. She is impressive vocally with some clever lyrical interludes.
Regret has music by Gur Sidhu and the instrumental does draw you in. For us though, Regret by R Nait is all about the wordplay and delivery. This deserves a spin!
