Coach Niko Kovac has also submitted the names of young summer signings Michael Cuisance (20) and Fiete Arp (19), alongside established stars such as Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer.

Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho, Inter Milan-owned Ivan Perisic and former Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez have played in the competition before, but it will be a new experience for FIFA World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard.
Bayern face Red Star Belgrade in their opening Champions League fixture on 18 September. Tottenham Hotspur and Olympiacos complete Group B.
