Sidhu MooseWala Mankirt Aulakh Must Get Permission From The Courts To Leave India

Trouble mounts for Punjabi singers Sidhu MooseWala and Mankirt Aulakh. Today the Punjab Police has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against them. A case was registered against them under Sections 294, 504, 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC)at the Mansa Sadar police station.

Chandigarh-based advocate HC Arora had filed a complaint against Sidhu Moose Wala, Mankirt Aulakh and five others for promoting weapons and violence in their songs.

Ever since the complaint was filed against them, police suspected that both of the singers could leave the country. Now, after the issuance of LOC, both the singers have to get a permission of the court before leaving the country.

As per the report; A complaint was filed against them after a video went viral on social media. The viral video shows both the singers singing with friends. This has been deemed as promoting gun culture and violence. That is now a violation of the orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court. The viral video in question can be viewed here:

In a complaint to Punjab DGP (Director General of Police). HC Arora alleged that in a video song ‘Pakhiyan, Pakhiyan’ Sidhu Moose Wala and Mankirt Aulakh were seen promoting violence.

After Arora filed a complaint. The DGP forwarded the complaint to Mansa SSP, after which the case was registered against both Sidhu Moose Wala and Mankirt Aulakh at Mansa Sadar police station.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court had directed the DGPs in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh to ensure that no songs would be played at any event that promotes liquor, drugs and violence.
