Well done to Britasia for hosting a well organised and professional event, hopefully this will mark a new approach to UK talent from the channel too, it was not long ago the likes of Steel Banglez struggled to get his music played on the channel. Just goes to show…….a little bit of faith can go a long way, especially if you want to win that audience back! Lets not miss out on the next JK or Panjabi MC because of a preference to big overseas acts, at the cost of new talent.
& please bring back the Band of the year award, as the UK is the home to so many talent musicians, we need them to be supported, you did a great job with the live sessions, lets continue that support.
