The Punjab Cultural Society (Regd.) has decided to organize ‘Maharaja Ranjit Singh Bhangra World Cup’ to popularize Bhangra across the globe, this has been confirmed to the press and to ourselves at Daily Ent. Xpress by Ravinder Singh Ranguwal.
President of Punjab Cultural Society Ravinder Singh Ranguwal said, that the mega event would be held in the first week of November this year in Ludhiana and would be dedicated to ‘Punjab Diwas’.
He added, that there are many people engaged in various vocations who are still devoted to bhangra and this event would afford them a chance to come together on a single platform. This event would be of international standards, and besides India, teams from Canada, USA, England, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand would also participated in the event.
Punjabi lyricist Shamsher Sandhu, radio TV artiste Nirmal Jaura, bhangra artiste Gurcharan Singh Sandhu, Daljit Khakh, Parminder Singh, Pritam Rupal, Preetinder Grewal, Ninder Ghugianvi, Poonam Sharma, Kanwaljeet Singh were also present.
