Being cheated on by the person you love most in the world is unbelievably painful, it can rip families apart. Yet, despite that many people still can’t say no to lure of cheating on a partner!
About one in ten people have cheated on their current partner, and a particularly depressing finding from a new survey has found that one in 20 people say they’re more loyal to their mobile phone network than they are their partner.
A further 16 per cent said that even if they haven’t cheated on their partner, their head has been turned. Birmingham has been named one of the cheating capitals of the UK.
It shared the top spot with York and London as the city where the highest number of people are unfaithful to their partners.
According to new research by iD mobile, Birmingham, London and York are the cheating capitals of the UK.

Separate research by dating site Ashley Madison found cheaters in Birmingham were among those most willing to risk revealing their faces.
Analysing the profiles of over 50,000 members who signed up between January 2018 and June 2019, the data reveals that about a third (29.8 per cent) of members in Birmingham have pictures of themselves on their dating profile.
The top five cities in which Ashley Madison members have images on their profiles are:
London – 32.3%
Birmingham – 29.8%
Manchester – 28.4%
Glasgow – 28.0%
Newcastle – 27.7%
Christoph Kraemer, Managing Director Europe at Ashley Madison, said: “Whilst the key to adultery is discretion, giving at least a glimpse of who you are undoubted sparks interest.
“What is interesting is that the percentage of members with profile photos seems to be directly related to the size of the city.
“The larger, and consequently more anonymous, the city is, the more members have profile photos because the risk of coinciding with someone you know is less.”
